We believe in giving you the flexibility to choose the best day and time for your solar panel cleaning.
Typically, we offer a morning and late afternoon service slot. The reason is that cleaning solar panels during the mid-day sun runs the risk of solar panel glass cracking. Additionally, it requires us to use a lot more water than we would need early or later on in the day. Also, it is very hot for our workers and we want to provide a safe working environment.
We are having issues with our custom-built online solar panel scheduler. While that is being worked on, please call or text (805) 826-3572 in the meantime. We apologize for the inconvenience

Solar Panel Cleaning FAQs
Q1: How often should I clean my solar panels in Camarillo or Ventura County?
A: We recommend cleaning your panels every 6–12 months, or sooner if you live near trees, parks, or high-pollen areas. Regular cleaning prevents moss, lichen, and debris from reducing energy efficiency and damaging your panels.
Q2: Can moss or lichen damage solar panels?
A: Yes. Moss and lichen not only block sunlight, reducing energy output, but can also scratch or damage the panel surface if left untreated. Cam Solar Clean specializes in gentle moss and lichen removal to restore peak efficiency without harming your solar investment.
Q3: How much efficiency can I gain from professional cleaning?
A: In Ventura County, dirty solar panels can lose between 20–40% efficiency. Most customers see a 17–47% boost in energy production after a professional cleaning.
Q4: What are some signs my solar panels need cleaning?
A: If your electricity bills are increasing, your solar production is lower than expected, or you notice visible dirt, pollen, bird droppings, or moss on your panels, it’s time to schedule a cleaning. Common searches like “Why is my solar production low?” or “Increase solar panel efficiency” are often signs of dirty panels.
